About Us
Bent Barley Brewing Company is an idea several years in the making, to provide quality beers to the Southeast Aurora area. Started by two friends and coworkers, Mark Job and Paul Dampier, who share a love of homebrewing, enjoying great beers with friends, and an understanding that not all beer lovers live within walking distance of downtown! As a majority veteran-owned company, Bent Barley is committed to utilizing U.S. made equipment and ingredients, and providing support to our local community and businesses.
We are a brewery tasting room, and are therefore focused on producing the best beer possible. As such, although we will have snacks available, we are not a restaurant. We encourage you to visit any of the several dozen nearby restaurants within the Southlands Mall and surrounding area. You are always welcome to bring outside food into our tasting room. Additionally, Monsoon (our neighbors with amazing Indian cuisine) will deliver right to the taproom.
In 2023 we decided to open a second location to complement our first! Come visit us in the Piney Creek Center at the corner of Parker Rd and Orchard. As with our original location, outside food is welcome, so enjoy some lunch at Doug's Diner, or dinner at our neighbors at Mama Louise!

The system
Our beautiful brew system in Southlands is a 10bbl system provided by Portland Kettle Works. PKW shares our commitment to supporting local businesses, using U.S. made equipment, and an emphasis on the finest quality craftsmanship.
The Creeks brew system is a 4bbl system provided by Stout Tanks in Portland, Oregon. |
The facility
Nestled away comfortably within the Southlands Mall, Bent Barley aims to provide a comfortable atmosphere for enjoying hand-crafted beers with friends and neighbors.
Construction was completed by the expert brewery construction team at Built in October 2018. The Southlands location opened to the public on November 16, 2018. The Creeks location is located on the corner of Parker & Orchard in Centennial, Colorado. Construction is provided by Provident and completed in November 2023.
